Founded in 2024 by Erin M. Cross,
The Glass Ceiling is an artist-run,
beginner-friendly workshop space in Richmond, VA.
Our mission is to provide supportive instruction and
make everyone feel capable of changing the world,
one material at a time. 
With instructors who go above and beyond to ensure
your comfort in the studio with different tools,
and empowerment in learning new things,
we hope you come back with all your friends and family
to explore the art of glass and more!

We are between Robinson St. and Mulberry St., Cary and Parkwood, just a few steps from Arthur Ashe Boulevard, Swan Lake at Byrd Park, and Carytown!

​We share a building with our wonderful neighbors, Spacebomb Recording Studio and Rosewood Clothing Co. 

Look out for our flag and separate entrance, visible from Rosewood Clothing's front door on Robinson St.

We have three parking spaces, and carpooling is always most ideal!
